Guide to enjoy coffee with the French Press
French Press is perhaps one of the best known and most widely used infusion systems in the world.
A cylindrical jug with a piston that presses on hot water and coffee: among all the preparations, this is the simplest. The secret is the right point of grinding.
The ideal is a medium grind, if the filter gets stuck or the coffee comes out cloudy it means that the degree of grinding is too fine. We recommend using a ratio of 70 g per liter of water, and a medium degree of grinding.
Add the coffee and then the entire amount of hot water, stir gently to ensure that all the coffee is moistened evenly.
Wait about 4 minutes, then stir it a little, and with a spoon, remove all the residue that has remained on the surface.
Insert the piston again, and press the plunger gently, slowly, to avoid sediment seeping into the coffee and you get a clean cup of residue.
